Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview
You may request deletion of personal information, waitlist information, supplier catalog content, analytical results, KrateIQ account information, and seller-authorized data associated with your verified account, subject to limited legal, security, and contractual retention requirements.
2. How to Submit a Request
Email privacy@krateiq.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request.” Send the request from the email address associated with your KrateIQ account or waitlist entry. Include your name, organization name, account email, and a brief description of the data or account you want deleted. Do not send passwords, API tokens, buyer data, payment-card information, or other sensitive information.
3. Revoke Amazon Authorization
If you connected an Amazon seller account, revoke KrateIQ’s authorization through the application-management area in Amazon Seller Central. Revocation stops future authorized API access. A separate deletion request helps ensure that previously stored KrateIQ data is also removed in accordance with this policy.
4. Verification
To prevent unauthorized deletion, we may ask you to confirm control of the registered email address or provide limited additional information reasonably necessary to verify identity and account authority. We will not ask for your Amazon password or API credentials.
5. Processing Timeline
We will acknowledge a deletion request and aim to complete verified deletion within 30 days. If applicable law requires a different timeline or the request is unusually complex, we will communicate the reason and expected completion date.
6. What Happens After Verification
Authorization credentials: Active seller authorization tokens under our control are revoked or deleted promptly after verified closure or revocation.
Production data: Personal information, supplier files, stored analyses, and seller-authorized data covered by the request are deleted or irreversibly de-identified within the applicable processing period.
Backups: Deleted production data may remain in encrypted backups until normal backup rotation completes, generally within 30 additional days. Backup data is not restored for ordinary business use.
Confirmation: We send confirmation to the verified requester when the deletion workflow is complete.
7. Limited Retention Exceptions
We may retain limited information when required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, needed to prevent fraud or abuse, or required by Amazon’s Data Protection Policy or other binding obligations. Security logs may be retained for at least 12 months, but are minimized and designed not to contain buyer PII or supplier catalog content. Retained information remains protected and is not used for unrelated purposes.
8. Waitlist-Only Requests
If you joined only the KrateIQ waitlist and never created a service account, request deletion from the same email address used to join. We will remove the waitlist entry and associated contact-form information, subject to the limited exceptions above.
